In addition to serving as vice president of William H. Sned and Company, Trey Sned works as a principal with Sned Realty and Development and oversees Harmen and Company as CEO and creative director. Along with his various professional pursuits, Trey Sned finds time to support several local organizations, including the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Now in its 75th year, the Norton Museum of Art recently announced that it is preparing to expand its facilities to accommodate the more than 100,000 patrons who visit the museum each year. Under the direction of Lord Norman Foster, an award-winning architect from the firm Foster + Partners, the Norton Museum will add a 42,000-square-foot west wing and create a new outdoor space that will house a 9,000-square-foot sculpture garden.
Other additions will include an education center, a state-of-the-art auditorium, and 12,000 more square feet of exhibition space. As part of its expansion efforts, the Norton will also restore six historic houses to provide a living space for its director and support its artists-in-residence program. The Museum plans to unveil all of its new and renovated spaces in 2018.
